ABOUT ENTROPY

Entropy is a place for me to share my views on many topics,
most of which are philosophical.

Who's me, you ask?

I am Bihaan Sen, more popularly known as Otus9051. I am a 15 year old school student based in India, doing stuff that most of my classmates don't even bother to understand. I am a seasoned Linux System Administrator and Kernel developer, and I like to experiment with my ASN, AS199693

Why "Entropy"?

According to Wikipedia, Entropy is a scientific concept that is most commonly associated with a state of disorder, randomness, or uncertainty.

If you read my poem Chaos, you will know that I prefer to compare life to entropy, a more meaningful entropy, that is chaos. Chaos is not directly entropy, but I like to think of it as a derivative of entropy.

As per the theoretical "Chaos Theory", there exists such a thing called deterministic chaos, which Edward Lorenz summaries as "Chaos: When the present determines the future but the approximate present does not approximately determine the future."

If you just search up Chaos Theory on Google, you will find 3 of the most common types, mainly the Butterfly Effect, Spiral Chaos, and the Lorenz Attractor. If you dig a little deeper, you will find that anything that is "deterministic chaos" starts up as being completely random and very sensitive, however as they go on, they become, somehow, less random.

The same theory, according to me at the very least, can be applied to life as well. While things may not make sense at front, they will later as life continues to go on. And as for the blog name being Entropy, it sounds better than Chaos, because lets face it, more people will find Entropy to sound better than Chaos.
